A St. Patrick’s Day Celebration in Luton
Emma – 17 March
James and I are having an amazing time at the St. Patrick’s Day parade here in Luton! 🎉 The entire town centre is alive with vibrant green decorations, lively Irish music, and an incredible sense of community. We’re dressed in our best green outfits, and even got our faces painted with shamrocks! 🍀 The atmosphere is simply electrifying. Have you ever seen a more festive crowd?
Oliver – 17 March
That sounds absolutely fantastic! I’ve heard the Luton parade is one of the most remarkable in England. Did you manage to see the Irish dancers yet? Their performances are always breathtaking!

Wow, your enthusiasm is contagious! I wish I could have joined you. The last time I attended, there were so many stalls selling delicious Irish food—please tell me you’ve had some soda bread or a hearty bowl of Irish stew!

I completely agree with Sophie! St. Patrick’s Day is the perfect occasion to immerse yourself in Irish culture. Also, I hope you’re wearing green, because I heard they take the ‘pinching rule’ quite seriously over there! 😆

Haha, of course! We wouldn’t dare show up without wearing green—it’s practically a requirement at this point. And yes, we did see the Irish dancers, Oliver! Their footwork was astonishing. Sophie, I tried some Irish stew, and it was absolutely delicious. Next year, you should definitely come along!
